"We booked the coach transfer and yeah..."
We booked the coach transfer and yeah, it did the job. Got us where we needed to go, which is the main thing. The driver was nice enough too, friendly actually. Pickup felt a bit slow though, like we were just waiting around longer than expected, and then the bus was kind of packed. Not awful or anything, just not exactly relaxing. Overall it was fine, nothing special, just a average transfer experience.

"Pretty sure every corner is a photo spot"
I got so many unreal photos here, honestly. Everywhere I turned just kind of worked, so if you're into taking pictures, I think you'll be happy with it

"Not quite what I was hoping for"
I was really expecting to see a bit more wildlife on the trip, so it ended up being a little disappointing. We spotted a few seals, which was nice, but no dolphins at all. Maybe I just had higher hopes, but it didn’t quite feel worth it for what I was expecting.

"Decent site, but accessibility needs a little work"
I was able to use the site okay, and after poking around for a bit I found most of what I needed. The text was readable, and it loaded fine on my phone too, so in that way it felt like it worked well enough.
Some of the buttons seemed a bit tiny though, and using tab on the keyboard got awkward in a few spots. The accessibility details for trips were there maybe, but not really obvious, so I had to search more than I expected. It’s not a bad site, it just feels like if those parts were cleaned up it would somehow make the whole thing feel easier

Overall, I had a good time on the tour. The staff were friendly and everything was pleasant enough, but I did feel like a few parts were a bit rushed. Maybe it’s just me, but for the price, I expected a little more time or value. Still, it was a decent experience and I’m glad I went

I booked through southerndiscoveries.co.nz and had such a great time. the scenery was the highlight for me, the mountains, water, and waterfalls looked incredible, even though it rained a little. I kept stopping to take photos, but they still don’t really capture how beautiful it was in person. The whole trip was easy and relaxed, and the views alone made it totally worth it. I’d definitely book with them again

"Felt safe the whole trip"
I booked through Southern Discoveries i felt really comfortable from the start. The safety info was explained clearly without feeling over the top, and the staff took the time to check everyone’s gear and talk us through what to do. No one seemed rushed, which I really appreciated. The boat also looked well cared for, so to me it felt like they genuinely take safety seriously. It made it much easier to just relax and enjoy the day.

"Super clean boat and easy trip"
The boat was really clean and the whole trip was easy from start to finish. no complaints at all. I’ll keep coming back as long as they keep it this smooth, but if the quality drops, I’d probably look somewhere else

"Great day out with a super knowledgeable guide"
well... we had such a good day out with Southern Discoveries. Our guide was really easy to listen to and knew so much about the area, the wildlife, and the history, but it never felt like a boring lecture or anything.
We threw a few random questions at him along the way and he had an answer for pretty much everything. It made the whole trip way more interesting, and I’d definitely be happy to do it again.

"Not really the best for kids"
The trip was okay overall, but it didn’t feel super family-friendly for us. The staff seemed busy most of the time, and we didn’t get much help with the kids. It ended up feeling a bit more stressful than fun, which was kind of disappointing.

I used this around the end of last month, or maybe the week before, and it was super straightforward. Pickup was really easy and we didn’t have to run around trying to figure out where to go. Drop-off afterward was just as simple too. Everything was on time, which made the whole day feel a lot less hectic. I’d definitely book again.
